We cater to just one couple currently so that nothing
disturbs your precious time away from the hustle and
bustle of everyday life.
Relax on the porches and
enjoy the mountain views, wildflower field, and over
50 varieties of birds. Walk among the landscaped flowers
and the hundreds of mountain laurel bushes. If desired,
Innkeepers, Bill and Sandy can take you on guided bird
walks in the woods and nearby Shipman Valley.
We are conveniently
located half way between Lynchburg and Charlottesville
(35 minutes from both cities). The Appalachian Trail,
Crabtree Falls, Walton's Mountain Museum, Wintergreen
Resort and James River State Park are all
within a 30 minute drive. We are
also a convenient drive to several wineries.
